Your pizza box may contain toxic chemicals !

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has just banned three type of perfluoroalkyl ethyl which are being used to make the paper containers resistant to oil and water.

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has just banned three type of perfluoroalkyl ethyl which are being used to make the paper containers resistant to oil and water.

The chemicals are also commonly found in many other products, from carpet cleaners to camping tents.

The controversy over the use of such chemicals in food packaging has been swirling around for quite some with several health advocacy groups petitioning the authorities seeking the ban on its use.

According to reports such chemicals may cause negative effect on the health of humans. It may also cause reproductive and developmental toxicity, and even cancer and birth defects.
