TataSky users get free TV streaming on devices

Mumbai, Jan 9 (Big Wire) Less than a week after US on-demand streaming service Netflix entered the Indian market, Direct-to -Home operator TataSky has announced to  offer its subscribers similar service for free.

All subscribers of Tata Sky can now stream the live channels they have subscribed for free by downloading its official application ‘Everywhere TV’ on iOS, Android, Mac and Windows PC devices.

Earlier a subscriber had to pay Rs.60 per month to access the service of Tata Sky’s Everywhere TV.

Now the subscribers can view channels that are a part of their subscription on their primary TataSky set top box for free on their Window PC, smart phones, Android, Mac and iOS . Each subscriber can download Everywhere TV application on a maximum of two devices.

A subscriber can activate the service by downloading the Tata Sky’s app. After that Tata Sky sends an SMS confirmation with a zero rupee charge.

Tata Sky Ltd is a joint venture between Tata Sons and 21st Century Fox.
