Indian watchmaker Titan has launched its first smartwatch Juxt in partnership with well-known technology giant HP Inc. Juxt is not just an analog watch; the functionalities blended have made it true smart.

Priced between Rs.15,995 and Rs.19,995 the company has offered three variations – titanium, stainless steel as well as rose gold.

The timepiece features a delicate honeycomb dial, 3D index and a leather band.

The watch can be paired with smartphones having either Android 4.4+ or else iOS 8.1+ and above operating system.

The watch, which can notify you about your social media activities, alerts you about your phone calls so that you never miss any one.

It also lets you know the time in other countries.

While one can pre-order the watch on the company e-commerce website and another e-commerce portal Mayntra, one can also buy it from select stores including World of Titan and Helios.

There is a huge demand of smartwatch globally with people giving up traditional method of time watching.

India is believed to have an Rs 5,000 crore watch market but has seen only single digit growth in the past year.

According to Forbes, Apple smartwatch accounted for more than 52 per cent smart watch shipments globally last year while Google Android Wear devices accounted for less than 10 per cent of sales in the same period.
