10 things Sanjay Dutt did post his release from jail

Here are 10 things 56-year-old Sanju baba did after he was released post serving 42 months in prison:

1. Dutt carried his own luggage as he walked out of the main gates around 8.15 am in blue shirt and jeans, sporting a small, salt-and-pepper ponytail.

2. He bowed before the prison gates, touched its ground and saluted the national flag set atop the jail.

3. He waved to his fans who were waiting eagerly to catch a glimpse of him.

4. He clicked his first selfie outside the jail after meeting wife Manyata Dutt and friend-director Rajkumar Hirani.

5. On reaching Mumbai, Dutt visited the famous Siddhivinayak Temple in Prabhadevi to seek blessings of Ganapati Bappa.

6. He then visited his mother, actor Nargis Dutt’s grave at Bada Kabrastan near Marine Lines.

7. He was received with “puja ki thali” by his sister, politician Priya Dutt at his residence, Imperial Heights.

8. He prayed before his father, actor-politician Sunil Dutt’s portrait.

9. He addressed the media where he informed that he has handed over Rs 540, that he earned in prison making paper bags, to his wife.

10. He brought his twins – Shahraan and Iqra – before the media and hugged them.
