It seems that WhatsApp is not going to leave any stone unturned in order to make it the best texting app for smartphone users.
It has now let you add text formatting feature in its updated version 2.12.535 for the Android smartphone users.
With this new update, one can easily change the font style of the text message to bold or italic before sending them.
All you need to do is to write bold message *between asterisks* and the italic message _between underscores_ to enable the effects. However, Google+ also uses similar formatting.
