1. Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC), New Delhi

Affiliated to the University of Delhi, SRCC started granting undergraduate degrees in 1932 and graduate degrees in 1948. It offers a three-year course in B.Com Honours. There is also a Post Graduate Diploma in Global Business Operations.


2. Lady Shri Ram College for Women (LSR), New Delhi

Founded in 1956, LSR is one of the most reputed institutes for Social Sciences, Humanities and Commerce. It offers one of the best Honours programmes in Commerce.


3. Loyola College, Chennai

Founded by the Society of Jesus (Jesuits) in 1925, it aims at providing education in a Christian environment. Mainly meant for Catholics, students from other religions are also welcome here. The college offers B.Com (General).


4. St. Xavier’s College-Autonomous, Mumbai

Founded by German Jesuits in 1869, St. Xavier’s College was re-accredited a A+ (5-Star) by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) in 2006.

It is one of the leading institutions for pursuing Bachelor of Commerce (BCom).


5. Christ University, Bangalore

Established in July 1969, it was formerly Christ College (Autonomous) and was affiliated to Bangalore University. Its Department of Commerce is the oldest and largest department of the university.

It offers undergraduate courses like BCom (Honours) and BCom (General). As per the India Today-Nielsen Survey 2016, the department ranks third in India and first in Bengaluru for Commerce.


6. Hindu College, New Delhi

Affiliated to the University of Delhi, Hindu College was founded in 1899. B.Com (Hons.) is the only commerce course offered by Hindu College.


7. St. Joseph’s College of Commerce, Bangalore

This college was established in 1972 after branching out from St Joseph’s College, Bangalore, which was founded in 1882.

It offers Bachelor of Commerce, Bachelor of Commerce (Travel and Tourism), Bachelor of Commerce (Industry Integrated), Bachelor of Business Administration, Masters in Commerce and Masters in International Business.


8. Anil Surendra Modi School of Commerce (ASMSOC), Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies University (NMIMS), Mumbai

Founded in 1964 by Shri Vile Parle Kelavani Mandal (SVKM), it offers three 3-year full-time undergraduate programs: Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) and Bachelor of Science (Finance).


9. St. Andrew’s College of Arts, Science and Commerce, Mumbai

The Roman Catholic college was founded in 1983 by the then Archbishop of Bombay Simon Pimenta. It is reputed for its commerce courses including B.Com (General), B.Com (Banking and Insurance), and B.Com (Accounting and Finance).


10. Symbiosis College of Arts & Commerce, Pune

It was established in 1971 and offers BCom and MCom degrees.
