Mumbai based activist selected for global event

Mumbai, Jan 2 (Big Wire) A Mumbai-based advertising professional has been selected among 45 other participants to represent India at the Ms Pride of the World 2016 Pageant in the special category (MRS) group.

42-year-old  Anita P who has been selected for the event has taken up several social issues over the years, including providing job-oriented vocational training for street kids, rehabilitation of acid-attack victims and education of the girl child in rural areas of Maharashtra.

She has varied experience in the marketing and advertising field and has won many awards for her work.

The pageant in Greece will be held next month and will see representatives from over 150 countries. PageantsWorld.com is sponsoring her and four others from Asia for the event.

The other participants include  one each from Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Afghanistan. This time, India will have one more participant in the below 20 years age category. PageantsWorld.com is yet to announce the name of this participant.

“I am privileged to be part of the prestigious event. I have my own ad agency in Mumbai, where I handle our top performing clients” Speaking about her experiences, Anita says.

“Before this, I worked at a large agency where I was on three different major national healthcare brands, event management, etc., And while I really enjoyed the work that I did there, I’d love the chance to dig in much deeper with my own advertising company.”

Anita has completed a Diploma in Commercial Arts, Diploma in Interior Designing and a Diploma in Textile Designing, Diploma in Photography from Rachana Sansad, Mumbai. “I’m a hard worker and really enjoy my work and am always looking for an opportunity to learn new things,” says Anita.

“My strengths are my skills. I am sincere, creative, enthusiastic, talented and hard-working advertising art director with background in effective visualization, design and timely production of advertising, collateral and other marketing materials to convey client’s image and message,” she says.

Anita’s hobbies include reading novels, painting and listening to music. “I am fond of acting, modeling and dancing which are my passions, besides my work.” she tells us.

Anita is also participating in the Mrs Global Earth and Pride Mrs India. Prior to these, she has participated in over six pageants in India over the last two years.
