Are you searching for a way to help your friend see live the event you are organising? Facebook has a solution for you.

The new features the popular social media website is adding will provide Facebook Groups and Facebook Events the ability to broadcast anything live.

With Facebook Live one can use his or her smartphone to share a live moment and others in the group can comment in real time. You can also respond to them and see their reaction.

Fidji Simo, Product Management Director of Facebook, has stated in a news room post that the new features for Facebook Live will give its users more ways to discover, share, and interact with live video, and more ways to personalise their live broadcasts.

Users can express their reactions the same way they are doing it to a post by clicking on emoting Emoji such as Love, Haha, Wow, Sad or Angry.  The reactions will animate right on top of the video. The live reactions will appear in real time and disappear quickly.

It will help broadcasters and other viewers to have a sense how people are feeling at different points during the live video. It’s like a live cricket event telecast where the crowds applaud and cheer.

Even one can discover live streaming happening around the world through the Facebook live map. You can also send the invitation to your friends to watch the same.

What could be more fun is when it will broadcast a question answer session live, group members and event followers can watch it in real time.

According to USA Today New Features, the social media giant is rolling out on iOS and Android in the coming weeks.

There are already quite a few numbers of websites which have already offering video streaming services. For example, Twitter’s Periscope claimed it has streamed some 200 million live broadcasts.

Similarly, Google’s YouTube and Snapchat are also popular among users.

Facebook has more than 1.5 billion users worldwide and it aimed to have five billion users by 2030.
