We are back with the 10th edition of Indian Premier League (IPL), our very own cash-rich, super-hyped, domestic Twenty20 (T20) tournament; and here is the full schedule for the year 2017:

Basic info:

1. The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2017 will start on April 5.

2. The 10th season of IPL will be played among 8 teams – Delhi Daredevils, Mumbai Indians, Kolkata Knight Riders, Kings XI Punjab, Royal Challengers Bangalore, Sunrisers Hyderabad and Rising Pune Supergiants.

3. A total of 56 league matches and four play-off matches, including the final, will be played during IPL 2017 over 47 days.

4. Ten top stadiums in Bangalore, Delhi, Hyderabad, Indore, Kanpur, Kolkata, Mohali, Mumbai, Pune and Rajkot have been selected for the matches.

5. The schedule has been designed with each team playing 14 matches – 7 of them at home venues, says the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).

6. In its 10th season, IPL will return to Indore for the first time since 2011.

7. The IPL 2017 final will be played at Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium on May 21 (Sunday).
