NGO offers virtual school to educate children

The NGO conducts online weekly classes (which comprises of extracurricular subject classes and as well as academic subject classes) at Rs 320/- per month, which is a completely “pay per wish” model.

A New Delhi-based Non-government organisation has launched a virtual school to provide quality education to children for free.

The Little Umbrella Foundation has launched this online educational initiative called Virtual Vidyalaya for those who have been greatly affected by the global pandemic situation of COVID 19.

“We want to reach out to as many children as possible in order to ensure that their education and all-round development doesn’t get hampered, as a result of these external circumstances,” the NGO said.

The NGO conducts online weekly classes (which comprises of extracurricular subject classes and as well as academic subject classes) at Rs 320/- per month, which is a completely “pay per wish” model.

It provides some weekly online extracurricular activity classes such as, Yoga, Vocal Music, Dance, Art & Craft, storytelling, etc.

These classes are being conducted by highly dedicated, passionate and motivated teachers, who have eagerly volunteered to impart knowledge, it said.
